Help Us Help Sendai Eagle Project Mission Statement
| Thank you to everyone that helped with my Eagle Project by donating money, supplies, or their time. We raised over $2,600! With a lot of help, I went out and got the supplies needed for the kits and did a count to make sure we had enough for 300 kits: 300 combs, 600 tubes of toothpaste, 300 toothbrushes, 300 bars of soap, 600 washcloths, and 10 boxes to ship the kits in. We still had extra money, so we bought female sanitary supplies, baby diapers, and baby formula. On Wednesday, March 30, we had 37 people show up at our church to help assemble the kits. With so many hard-workers, the boxes full of hygiene kits and other essentials were ready to be shipped. Thursday morning, my dad and I went down to the post office and got the supplies shipped. Miraculously, the 10 heavy boxes arrived in Japan only four business days later!
Thanks again to everyone that helped me help Sendai and I know that the people are being well cared for and are grateful for your donations! |
I just posted this on my facebook. How can I send the donation to him? I can bring check or cash to your house sometime.
